DigitoolDB

Built a fully functional NoSQL document database from the ground up in pure Python — no external database engine. Supports collections, full CRUD operations, indexing, and JSON-based document storage.

This project was about deeply understanding how document databases work internally. Not just using MongoDB, but building the thing MongoDB does — from storage layout to query execution.

The kind of project that shows database internals knowledge you cannot get from tutorials.
